    Hopeful

    I haven’t started yet but am hopeful this will help eliminate some of my back pain and help me to lose some weight. The illustrations and instructions are super clear and easy to follow.

    Page numbers don’t match the exercises

    The exercises in this book are okay. But when I went to begin the 28 day challenge, many of the exercises have the WRONG page number next to them. I had to leaf through the book to find them and then change the page numbers in the back. Ridiculous.

    Amazing Program that got us moving!

    I had both of my knees replaced and was looking for something to help me get moving. I found this chair yoga program. After a week or so, I thought this would also be good for my elderly mother and bought her a book too. We have been using it for 6 months now and the results are incredible. I have better range of motion now than I did before my knee surgery and my mother can now walk up and down curbs again and is more sturdy on her feet. The very best part is that we do this together over the phone every morning and had helped us stay in touch daily! The program is simple and easy to follow. Highly recommend.

    Excellent guide for chair yoga

    This book is one of the best chair yoga books I’ve read.Author gives his background and qualifications at the end.Which is nice because it’s optional if you want to read his biography. His stats are not thrown in your face at the get-go.Book begins with explanations of chair exercises and how they are just as effective as free-exercising.The instructions are easy to read and see as has provided hand drawn diagrams of start and to end position.With Alessandro’s expertise and guidance it is possible to achieve optimal results.

    Excellent exercise routine

    i am on day 5 today. This exercise routine has variety and is easy to follow. i feel muscles that i have not felt in years, especially in my core. it tones and stretches the muscles. and also offers some cardio. it makes me sweat and so far i have lost a solid 1/2 pound in 4 days. very happy with the routine. highly recommend, all you need is a chair.

    Professional book, it does the job

    Overall, professional book. Amazing exercises, well explained, and references page numbers in the 28-day challenge part to help you quickly and easily find which exercises to do.I love it.The only thing I didn’t appreciate is that I bought it with the hope that it would have some exercises using weights, which it doesn’t.Still recommend it as a good fitness book, though.

    Recovering from illness

    I am under 50 but had Covid pneumonia in both lungs, and it has taken me a very long time to become strong enough to feel like trying to work out again. This book has helped me in so many ways. Now, I feel hope again that I can get back to being flexible and regain my strength. Thank you, Alessandro Villanucci, for putting this together and sharing it on Amazon.

    Very Pleased

    My husband and I are in our 70’s and while not really heavy, we became a little paunchy. After 28 days, we have both lost a few pounds, but most importantly, our tummies have flattened. My husband says these are good golf stretches and they have reduced my lower back pain, which becomes more severe with weight bearing exercises. Alessandro was very quick in sending the 28 day follow-up by e-mail, completely free! I’m considering adding some light wrist and ankle weights to amp this up a little.

    Works Good!

    I found it stretched my back muscles and limbered my body, Went through it and will do it again starting with his subsequent follow up. But I don’t about weight loss, that would take some doing on your part, but as a senior I think it is an excellent platform to get exercise in the morning…….

    Chair Yoga for Weight Loss

    This book was life-changing for me. It got me back into a routine of daily exercise. It fit into my busy lifestyle and started my day off on the right track. I am older, have had some significant injuries and all of these exercises were achievable for me. Highly recommend!!

    Poorly written and made.

    The book is poorly written and made. Like the images look just terrible an unprofessional (look at the photo) and you have exercise in one page but for the description of that exercise you have to flipped the page. So I probably burn more calories by flipping the pages than doing actual workout hah.I had to return this book and buy a different one.

    AMAZING!!!

    After I read all of the introduction, etc, I looked over the various movements/exercises thinking ‘yeah okay’ we’ll see.I started the 28 Day Challenge a couple of days ago and this evening I was made aware of why it only has you do 5 or 6 exercises each day, which only takes about 15 minutes. I feel slightly abused in all there areas addressed by todays series of moves, especially my legs.Based on how my body feels, I suspect after 28 days I might just see some visible results. By the way tomorrow is my 77th BD and I officially obese so I’m going to try to be disciplined and stick to it, possibly repeat the 28 day routine over and over because these routines are obviously good for your body regardless of your physical condition.

    Weight loss guide

    I really enjoyed this book for low impact exercises to lose weight. If you set a lot at work or for whatever reason, then you really should get this book and exercise for better overall health and weight loss. It has stretch exercises, tones muscle, and focuses on cardio also. It has a twenty-eight-day challenge, along with some nutritional and lifestyle tips for weight loss. I thought this was a really nice book for exercising to lose weight.

    Easy and safe

    I did the 28 day program. I walk poorly due to balance issues with my feet. I was able to do all the exercises and am stronger and walking better. I also feel more focused and my clothes are a little looser!

    Got me motivated

    I’m old and overweight and I don’t exercise regularly, but I thought Chair Yoga was something I could actually do, despite arthritic knees. The book lays out a very easy-to-follow 28-day plan, and once I got started, I was motivated to continue. These are exercises you can actually perform. They made me feel better and more flexible. Each day’s exercises made me more determined to keep going. After all, it’s only 28 days, right? I’m here to tell you I completed the 28 day plan and found myself reaching out to the author via email (he tells you how to reach him) for a Follow-Up 28-day plan. The exercises even made me more conscious of my diet. Try it. You can do it. Believe me, if I can do it, so can you.

    Great resource for low impact exercise program

    I bought it a week ago and it has been very useful for me. I had not been feeling well both mentally and physically but I now feel like this book may be the key to unlocking my full potential.I just feel better when I do exercise, and with these exercises I am beginning to lose weight and experiencing decreased pain!After just a few sessions, I can already see progress in my fitness and flexibility. I am much more confident in my ability and my body thanks to the clear instructions in the book. I am excited to continue using this book and see where it takes me on my fitness journey. I plan to continue with the exercises.I highly recommend this book to anyone who’s struggling to exercise and need low impact activities to get fit and feel good. Among chair yoga books I bought, this is by far the best one!

    Low impact exercises

    This book is a great tool for anyone who is looking to start exercising and needs a low impact exercise routine. The routines are based on just ten minutes a day so it’s something that you can easily work into your schedule. My mom really likes this book as she has been doing some exercises but wanted to see if she could lose a few pounds with this.

    Better than I could have even imagined

    This book by Alessandro was a life-changer for me and super useful for anyone struggling with mobility issues (in their shoulders, hips or knees, especially). I’ve been searching for a good seated yoga book for months now and finally, this is it.I spend most of my day sitting, and even though I am not overweight, I feel like this negatively impacts my health.These workouts make me feel so much better!Just by spending 5-15 minutes a day doing these exercises, I’ve already been relieved of my constant aches and joint pain.I strongly recommend this book to all my friends, as it is great for people who struggle getting up and down off the floor. Elderly people would also find this helpful, seeing how much my mom both enjoys and benefits from it.Without a doubt, this book was exactly what I needed to get me working out in my favorite chair (…even at the office sometimes). I really like that the illustrations are so clear and the notes so easy to follow, it really seems as if the personal trainer is right there next to you.Highly recommended!

    Do what you can when you can

    I liked that this book attempts to show people that no matter what their ability level, they can do something to be more flexible and stronger. The book is divided into sections based on what area is being targeted. For example, there is a section on building muscle while seated. Each exercise has an illustration with it to help you visualize what you need to do. i liked this. IT helps ensure you do the move correctly and will be less likely to injure yourself. Overall, I enjoyed this book very much and I learned a lot.

    Yoga book.

    Very hard to follow the steps, you cannot get into a rhythm because you have to keep flipping the pages back and forth to see what you’re supposed to do. I should have returned it, but I didn’t.

    Chair Yogo at Home

    I just purchased this book & haven’t had the opportunity to start my workout yet. I really want to say “Thank You” for thinking about others. Your thoughtfulness is most appreciative. Now, after reviewing all of the pages, I must say the Author “Alessandro” has defined each exercise & then added visual instructions for each 28 day chair yogo workout. It appears the exercises are low impact & I’m looking 👀 forward to loosing some needed weight loss. I cannot wait to get started.
